The baby 

When he arrived home he walked through the door with the baby in his arms .His mum was shocked with what he brought home . she asked him where are the rabbits . He said, “I left them but l will go back if you look after him and keep him warm . His mum nodded and said, “Be fast  cause its getting dark “On his way back he saw another rabbit in the distances crept up on it and grabbed his gun and missed . when he got home it was dark and the baby was sleeping  . 

Mr wolf

Mr. Wolf
 In the deepest, darkest depths of the forest, Mr. Wolf waited. His disguise hadn’t worked, but that didn’t concern him. Now, the boy thought he was safe. Mr. Wolf didn’t think he was. Mr. Wolf knew exactly where he was. He could sense him. He could smell him. He could almost taste him . Until the boy ran and he ran until he came to a stop . He stops at the nearest house which was this old cottage With all this candy around it .

It reminded him of the story about the witch and the 2 kids Hansel and Gretel he stopped and thought what if this was the witch house what she was going to do the same thing to him . He ended up forcing himself to go in . He knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer he waited and waited until he heard someone coming . He panicked and ran into the garden after a while the person had gone. He built enough courage to knock again after all he didn't want to go home to his house on the other side of the forest and he did not want to run into the wolf again so he knocked one more time this time she answered he said to her, can you help me I need to get home but my house is on the other side of the forest and he was chasing me but then I lost him and I stopped here after I was finished telling her the story she let me come in and she gave me a cookie then I thought it was getting late I should get going so I told her that and she said do you have anyone that lives near here and I said I don't think so but then she said wait grandma she lives just around the corner, I can go there and call my mum and tell her that i'm at grandma's and she can come pick me up in the morning so she doesn't get worried then she said that's a good idea let's go .

On the way there she was talking to me and said what's your grandma's name and I said grandma Betty well it's just Betty . The witch said I know her we used to go to school together she was one of my best friends . I was meaning to catch up with her . When we arrived I knock on the door . Grandma answered and said hi sweety come in . Then I said grandma you don't look very well grandma are you alright yes I'm fine I've just got got a cough . Um are you sure .Yeah i'm fine now come in . Then I whispered in the witch ear um I don't think that's her she's acting very strange and look at her face she doesn't look right . Then she said your right that's is because it not it the wolf then the wolf jumped at me but the witch jumped in front of me and pushed him to the ground and told me to go and find my grandma well I deal with him so that's what I did . In the end I found her and my mum picked me up and we all lived happily ever after .

I am a swan

This my poem that I wrote about a swan wanting to a ballerina hope you like it

I am a Swan  

I am a swan on the viscous and undulating lake .

I wonder what that sparkly thing is at the bottom .

I hear the wind blowing leaves  on the trees.

I want to be a ballerina.   

I am a Swan .

I pretend to be a ballerina .

I feel  like no one likes me but I know they do .

I touch the water ever so slightly .

I worry that I will never have friends .

I cry because I feel like I will  never find friend’s .

I am a sad and lonely swan .

I understand if people don't like me .

I say don't worry  be happy .

I dream of being a ballerina .

I try my hardest to be my best .

I hope to be my best . I am a swan .

Kia ora, my name is Montana I am a year 6  student at Waitohu School. I am in  room 3 I have the best teacher in the world and lots of  great friends . I am 10 years old . I have a lot of  family members  I have 6 sisters and 3 brothers  i also have 4 cats . I live in Otaki .
